SAFETY MANAGER
Important steel manufacturing company has an opening for an experienced Safety Manager.Minimum qualifications for this position include:
•Bachelor's degree with specialization in Industrial Occupational Safety.
•Responsible for Safety, Security and Training.
•Direct Safety audits throughout the plant towards the detection and assessment of hazardous working conditions and unsafe work practices (Behavioral).•Ensure compliance with OSHA, TCQ, EPPA, DOT, State of Texas Regulations & from other regulatory agencies as directed. Maintain all recordkeeping.•Knowledge of safety behavioral science, including demonstrated ability to motivate, organize & constructively resolve conflict with people at all levels.
•Knowledge of safety equipment, devices & investigation methods.
•Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
•Self motivated and able to manage time well; excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Ability to travel.
•Bilingual English-Spanish 100%.We would like to consider your background if you have the following:
