Project Manager - Forward Planner Builder DevelopmentFantastic time to join a great team and builder with tremendous strides in the industry!- Manage all phases of planning from entitlement, plan preparation and approval of the development process. Taking projects from due diligence to handing projects over to the construction team for horizontial and vertical buildout.
- Feasibility analysis of new land opportunities, processing tentative tract maps to final engineering, processing permits and bonds, as well as SWPPP’s, and securing approvals of all other plans and permits required to develop the land.- Manage Land Development personnel, management of contractors, consultants and inspectors.
- Ensure project(s) remain no schedule and within budget.
- Other duties & responsibilities include assisting in processing architectural design approvals, conditional use permits, and other duties to be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of California land use & planning law, the Subdivision Map Act, CEQA, and other environmental matters. Must be able to effectively interface with public agencies, civil engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and others involved in the land development process.
- Must be able to work with and communicate with other departments. This position will have direct interaction with the Division President, Land Development, Acquisitions, Sales, as well as outside engineering firms and municipal employees and elected officials. This position requires attendance at public hearings, and may require attendance at homeowner association meetings, and community outreach meetings.
- Minimum of 2 to 15 years with a homebuilder, land developer or civil engineer.-Bachelor's degree.- Must be well rounded, a team player who can have fun and loves their career 'not just a job', someone who will thrive in an environment were knowledge, bright ideas and ambitions are tapped into on a daily basis and encouraged to bring about new ideas and personal goal settings.Professional Staffing Ventures is a independent staffing firm specializing in the builder and developer industries.
