Project Manager

I. POSITION PURPOSEResponsible for managing projects from inception to completion, inclusive of construction, voice and data, and physicalcustomer relocation.
II. ACCOUNTABILITIESMay be responsible for one or more of the following:•Meet with department representatives, architects, engineers and consultants to establish project requirements,specifications and schedules.•Coordinate development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings.•Solicit, prepare and review bid documents and negotiate contracts.•Enforce contractual requirements.•Monitor and maintain construction project schedule; serve as liaison between client and contractors.•Prepare project documentation and direct project meetings.•Inspect projects to ensure conformance with local, state and federal construction codes and in accordance with contractdesign specifications.•Ensure efficient operation of all HVAC and electrical/mechanical systems; inspect sites and implement procedures tominimize loss of assets and production time.•Develop project budgets and schedules.•Supervise customer relocation.•Responsible for all project reporting;•Responsible to work with Information Systems (I/S) as appropriate; to potentially include voice and data infrastructure•Must be available to work after hours and weekends
REQUIREMENTS
III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, business or equivalent to appropriate 4-yearcollege program.•5+ years’ project-management or construction-management experience.
Or Any similar combination of education and experience
•Must be detail-oriented, analytical and computer literate with proven leadership skills•Knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, Title III of ADA, contract laws, project controls andbuilding support systems•Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service•Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability•Strong verbal/written communication skills
