The ideal candidate will be a registered architect with 5 - 10 years of professional experience. He or she must possess strong technical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The types of assignments may consist of commercial, industrial and/or government facilities. Responsibilities will include design development, construction document drawings using AutoCAD 2005; and project coordination with in-house engineers and outside consultants. The project architect will work under the general supervision of Senior Project Managers and the department head but is expected to work independently to move forward on assigned projects according to scope requirements and meet submittal deadlines. Successful fulfillment of assignments may lead to future project management opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
