Power-Generation Equipment Repairer

In the Texas Army National Guard, the Power-Generation Equipment Repairer is a Soldier who supervises and performs maintenance and maintenance support functions of power-generation equipment, internal combustion engines and associated equipment up through 200KW (except for turbine engine-driven generators). The Guard depends on reliable power-generation equipment to complete our important missions. As such, the Power-Generation Equipment Repairer is a highly valued member of the Guard team, helping to keep this critical equipment in good working order.

The Texas Army National Guard is an elite group of Citizen-Soldiers who dedicate a portion of their time to serving their nation. Guard members train part-time to be ready full-time, should their state or nation call them to serve.

Major Duties

Performs direct and general support maintenance on tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated items of equipmentRepairs/overhauls starters, alternators, generators, fuel injectors, voltage regulators, switches, control circuits, and other such equipment
