Currently, we’re seeking a detail-oriented person with strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills. Responsibilities include calculating product costs, developing bids, and reading specifications and architectural drawings. Must have computer experience including Excel. REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Read the specifications and other documents to the project to become familiar with the requirements.

- Determine quantities of hardware items to provide

- Determine the costs of hardware items specified

- Evaluate the documents for code errors and/or discrepancies

- Develop a strategy that minimizes risk and provides the greatest opportunity for the salesperson to sell the project

- Communicate with customers and co-workers through: face to face contact, phone, fax and/or e-mail.

- Communicate with factories, vendor representatives, or product distributors through phone, fax, e-mail, or internet to obtain pricing and information about a product.

- Work with multiple co-workers and departments for developing bid strategy on issues that overlap among the various trades

- Read and work with documents that are provided in either paper or electronic format

- Must be able to deal with:
- Strict deadlines for completing projects
- Multiple projects going on at one time
- Changes to previous bid projects while continuing to work on current bidding projects.
