Manager, Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Job SummaryResponsible for ongoing communication with HOA, management companies and boards of directors to ensure satisfaction with our facilities maintenance services throughout Southern California; Commissioning of new buildings and bringing online; Utilize opportunities to detail our full-range of services including electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting and welding; Attend and utilize HOA board meetings to build relationships and to identify any issues or opportunities.
Work Performed
Reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for overseeing client needs and delivering contracted services.Ongoing communications with employees; Listens to the supervisors and technicians to identify their needs so as to enhance productivity and safety.Identify opportunities to enhance employee skills, company loyalty and job satisfaction.
Assures Safety Compliance and training set by industry standards.A working knowledge of federal and state regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, California Labor Law) is required.Must develop performance targets and strategic implementation of business plan. Utilize company software to track hours on jobs, monitor job costing, monitor job GPM, ensure accurate billings, and monitor current month and year to date P & L’s.Must participate in monthly manager meetings and annual strategic planning.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & RequirementsGreat attitude required; ambitious, communicative, fun & energetic.
Strong communication/Leadership/Problem Solving Skills/Organization & detailed a must.Trade skills and building systems knowledge required.
High-rise experience required.
HVAC proficient
Proficient in MS Office
HOA Industry expertise a plus.
Valid Drivers License
