Classification: Full Time Compensation: $65000.00 to $75000.00 per year My client, a $20MM commercial real estate company located in Alexandria, VA, is currently is search of an Assistant Controller to join its small, but growing Accounting and Finance team in its Northern Virginia office due to the exponential growth of it's business. The person chosen for this position will be the second in command, or the right hand man / woman, to the Controller. Company office environment is employee friendly and collegiate. The business is family owned and has maintained this same family oriented feel since opening its doors in 1989. Assisting Controller w/ Budgeting and Forecasting process
Coordinating with field to gather Financial information and make sure that Accounting information is recorded correctly
Supervising / Reviewing the work of 2 jr. accountants- responsible for AP, ARQUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree ( Specialization in Finance or Accounting preferred)5+ years relevant Accounting experience, industry experience and exposure to Job Costing and WIP Accounting preferredExcellent communication skillsATTRIBUTES
