Construction Manager – Podium/Hotel

Lennar Corporation, one of the largest homebuilders in the country, has immediate openings for Construction Managers for its Orange Coast Urban Division. The selected candidate will supervise and direct all aspects of the Community from inception to move-in. Product includes all attached residential and mixed-use such as; townhomes, podiums, high-rise and vertically mixed-use construction. Demonstrated experience in urban high-density residential and commercial high-end hotel construction, subterranean concrete or parking garage supervision experience a must.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

?Supervise and direct all aspects of construction, which includes off-sites and on-sites.
?Responsible for schedules using Suretrack and P3, and insures the workmanship of all work by inspecting and approving subcontractor’s work.
?Insures that the work is in compliance with City or County requirements and building codes.
?Maintains records of all changes on the Community projects, such as change order and/or purchase orders.
?Responsible for inspections and corresponding paperwork.
?Approves all subcontractor invoices with regard to work completion and quality.
?Maintains daily log of all occurrences on the Community.
?Coordinates with purchasing department regarding budgets and quality of subcontractors.
?Coordinates with various manager/departments regarding plans and specifications.
?Coordinates with Customer Care Representatives on quality and walk-through preparation of residence for move-in.
?Insures timely residence completions and deliveries
?Coordinates with New Home Consultants on delivery schedule.
?Coordinates compliance with Conditions of Maps and Conditions of Occupancy.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience Requirements:

?Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
?5 to 7 years experience of vertical and horizontal construction experience.
?Demonstrated experience in urban high-density residential construction, subterranean concrete or parking garage supervision a must.
?Commercial high end hotel experience.
?Must be familiar with P3 or Suretrack scheduling software
?Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
