Construction Manager
Construction Manager Job -> GREAT OPPORTUNITY is now available in an appealing Alabama location for a one year full time supervisory Contract Position for CONSTRUCTION MANAGER for large construction engineering organization. Successful candidate will have 10 plus years of related construction management experience, be part of a project management team for a large construction upgrade project and will supervise an administrative/procurement assistant regarding performance of small to intermediate sized project purchases, contract file documentation ( control and maintenance), the copy/plot of drawings, expediting of receipt of vendor/contractor/engineer information, and assembly of project monthly reports.
Project tasks for selected candidate will also entail the following responsibilities: contract administration (processing change orders, requests for information (RFI's), vendor/contractor charge disputes, assistance with cost analysis of proposed changes), material receiving reports (expediting material and equipment), visits to fabrication and assembly shops to maintain quality and delivery schedule), and additional duties as assigned. Per Diem and competitive hourly wage are available for this position.
