The primary role of this position is to serve as the owners technical representative on construction projects, assuring projects are being built according to the contracted terms. Day to day duties include: monitoring and documenting the construction process, keeping accurate daily logs and continuous communication with the Construction Manager and Contractors. Must have a thorough knowledge of construction techniques as they relate to transportation (highway, roadway, and/or bridge) projects. This position will work with a Construction Contract Manager to assure all contracted criteria are being met.Keywords:

REQUIREMENTS
-Familiarity with broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes.
-Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications & identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
-Knowledge of Caltrans construction criteria.
