Construction AutoCAD Technician / Estimator

AutoCAD Technician / Estimator is needed for our Bothell, WA office.

ISEC is currently seeking an AutoCAD Tech/Estimator to work out for our Northwest Division in our Bothell, WA office.

Description:
This candidate will be working as a CAD Engineer and laboratory casework estimator and will be responsible for drawing AutoCAD shop drawings. Previous CAD drafting experience in the laboratory casework industry is preferred. Candidate will also be responsible for estimates primarily in division 10, 11 and 12, and insuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete. In addition, candidate will provide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson on the job and its elements. Previous experience estimating laboratory casework and building specialties is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must have at least a 2 year college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Computer knowledge, especially with Microsoft Office programs is necessary and proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. This position will use AutoCAD 2006 until September and AutoCAD 2007 after that. The candidate must be able to read and understand blueprints. A minimum of 2 years CAD experience is required and estimating in the construction industry is preferred.

This skilled professional must be effective in meeting deadlines and solving problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and computer skills are also required for the position.
