Position Summary:
Be on the forefront of the development of a growing Central Texas city in this Engineering Technician position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of technical experience in the land development process.
Primary duties will include Reviewing civil engineering plans for commercial and residential developments.Must possess the ability to read and review engineering plan sets for completeness, compliance & comment resolution;Research utility, easement, R.O.W., and plat records; maintain files, surveys, computations, and maps;Provide documented information to the public and the development community.Benefits:Health, Dental & Life insurance, supplemental insurances, defined contribution retirement system, 457 deferred compensation plan, employee assistance program, incentive pay for qualified individuals; sick leave, vacation, 10 holidays and 3 personal holidays per year.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:HS equiv & 1-3 yr exp in civil engineer/technical assistance;Ability to read and comprehend technical data in plan sets;Experienced in engineering calculations and civil eng terminology, & broad land development/permit process experience.Qualified candidates must complete a City of Pflugerville Application form.
