Civil Engineer / Staff Engineer

Purpose: Position: Civil Project Engineer Location: Sacramento Salary: $60K-$80K/yr DOE + excellent Benefit & Profit Sharing program

We are actively seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our Sacramento office.

This Project Engineers job responsibilities will include but are not limited to work associated with technical calculations, reports, design, coordination and management of civil engineering site work and transportation projects. Will oversee individual projects and design elements. Will drive the design process, directing Design Engineers and CAD Technicians. Design elements may include Erosion Control, Grading, Drainage, Sewer, Water, Stormwater and Franchise Utilities. This position introduces individuals to limited staff management and provides opportunities for career development and growth into Project Management.

Requirements/ Qualifications for this position include:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)- (Preferred not required)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of AutoCAD including Softdesk/Land Development Desktop
- Experience using Stormshed, WWHM
- Experience with: cost estimating, site planning, permitting in local counties, storm/sewer/water design
- Experience drafting/designing on commercial retail site development projects
- A personal commitment to excellence
