ENGINEER/CIVIL DESIGN – With 5 or more years experience to perform water supply and water distribution system design, prepare cost estimates, and prepare master plans. P.E. preferred. Projects include design of municipal water pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water treatment facilities. B.S. degree in Civil Engineering required.

*To improve the quality of water delivered for potable use from a reservoir subject to quality stratification, Stetson proposed, designed, and supervised construction of a floating adjustable variable-depth intake as a retrofit to a fixed intake structure.
*Taking advantage of advanced technology and hydrologic modeling techniques, Stetson developed a real-time flood forecasting tool that integrates remote sensing devices, GIS, and satellite information to protect life and property in a southern California watershed.
