Assistant Project Manager

Purpose: A prestigious Bay Area Construction Management firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team!

The qualified candidate will have 0-5 years of applicable experience managing construction sites in excess of $1 million. Responsibilities include assisting the construction manager with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, submittals, change orders, RFIs, material ordering, and general health and safety. Projects are primarily government, state, and public works projects.

A bachelors degree in civil engineering or construction management is preferred. Previous experience with ground-up builds and/or tenant improvements on commercial construction projects is a must. Public works experience is also highly desirable!
