Our book fairs and book displays are known as “North America’s Most Popular Employee Events,” supplying innovative, superior quality products to employees at over 70,000 schools, 50,000 businesses, 20,000 early-learning centers, 12,000 corporations, and numerous hospitals, universities, government offices, and non-profit organizations across the United States and Canada.

The heart of this exciting effort is in our network of more than 1,000 independent sales representatives. Our representatives enjoy the freedom of operating their own business while enjoying high commissions, defined sales territories, consigned inventory, proven saleable products, and Books Are Fun’s reputation for excellence and service.

The Early Childhood Division (ECD) serves teachers, administrators and parents at over 15,000 early childhood centers nationwide. The division is deeply committed to providing premium quality books and gifts that educate, inspire, and enrich educators, parents, and children alike.

Every six weeks, as an ECD Independent Business Owner you will display 25 to 30 New York Times bestsellers children’s storybooks and classics, educational materials, general interest titles, and more in early childhood centers. Teachers, administrators, parents and children will review the products at their leisure, and our Business Owners return within a week to fill orders and collect funds.

The Division is further dedicated to promoting literacy among America’s children. In conjunction with its Business Owners, the division donates one book for every ten purchased to early learning centers across the nation.

In addition to the Displays being placed in your accounts every six weeks you will be able to offer two other exciting opportunities:


Fundraising in the form of large book fairs. With our “We do all the work” motto Early Childhood Centers enjoy a lucrative fundraising opportunity without all the work!


An exciting selection of educational materials for the owners & directors of your accounts to use in their on going pursuits to educate the children enrolled in their centers.

Successful Representatives:
Make presentations to business owners and center directorsDeliver 30 or more premium quality books and giftsFill orders and collect funds. Each week you will receive the rewards in a regular commission check based on your sales results.

Due to the extensive amount of consigned inventory, Books Are Fun requires that each candidate have a satisfactory credit history. Applicants will be asked for permission to run a credit report.

Commission payments for the first 10-week period of this contract shall be greater of the commissions calculated or $500 per calendar week.
