Outside Sales Representative

West Coast Beauty Systems is the largest full-service distributor of wholesale beauty products in the world. West Coast Beauty Systems corporate office is located in Benicia, California. We do business in 13 Midwest and Western states, with over 200 Salon Consultants. We also have over 100 professional-only stores to serve our customers throughout the U.S.

West Cost Beauty Systems is seeking an experienced outside Outside Sales Representative for our Contra Costa County territory.

Primary functions & efforts required:

Service and support salons, developing long-term relationships and working with owners, managers and stylists;
Show and place new products and promotions;
Supporting sales through education, promotional events and merchandising;
Work with Customer Service Reps in researching problems with salon orders;
Enter customer orders as needed;
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:

2 years previous outside sales experience preferred
Cosmetology license or beauty background also preferred
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation as position requires some driving
Computer literate, preferably Windows-based programs, as some computer work may be necessary.

Other Skills and Abilities Required:

Additional travel required for conventions, shows and other special events
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to work independently
Highly organized
