Outbound Sales Specialist - Part time

Duties will vary dependent upon section assigned in the outbound sales call center. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

. Sell banking products to new and existing customers.
. Maintain an appropriate call volume and actual time on the phone in order to contact prospects in need of bank products and services.
• Identify sales opportunities. Evaluate new and existing customer’s current relationship and financial objectives to effectively recommend additional products or services. Proactively suggest products or services that meet the client’s needs. Identify and cross-sell other bank products or services.
• Individual must build rapport over the telephone and present information in a professional and accurate manner.
• Demonstrate understanding and appreciation of customer priorities and seek out long- term benefits to the customer.
• Build customer loyalty by establishing rapport with customers.
• Ensure that procedures for completing work tasks are carefully followed.
• Convey information to customers in a clear, logical and easy to understand manner. Adjust communication style and tailor content to customers and others to ensure understanding.
• Model team commitment by adhering to the team’s expectations and guidelines and fulfilling personal responsibilities to the team.
• Ensure procedures for completing work tasks are carefully followed. Perform work tasks with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Follow through on work commitments.
• Develop a daily planning system; prioritize important or urgent tasks. Plan the best use of time by using time-management tools.
• Summarize outcome of discussion with customers to ensure that all requests or problems have been addressed.
REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrate competency in product knowledge, sales skills and analytical skills.
• Effective listening, communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible and open to a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be self-motivated and assertive
• General working knowledge of computer systems to access various pieces of information.
• Effective time-management skills.
• May require general knowledge of a specified computer software program, such as, Microsoft Word or Excel.
