International Shipholding Corporation, a public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange, will be relocating to the Mobile area around the first quarter of 2007! Candidates must be willing to work in New Orleans, LA until the corporate move to Mobile in the first quarter of 2007. We have the following positions available:Director of Risk Management/Loss Prevention – Immediate opening for individual with a B.S./B.A. degree and 5-10 years of experience handling risk management and loss prevention functions. Must have experience placing marine insurance coverage, handling renewals of coverage as well as managing claims for cargo, personal injury, etc. Must be pro-active and have a strong background in loss prevention strategies.Technical Superintendent -- Candidate must have a B.S. degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent and 10 years of experience in the Marine field. Responsibilities include supervision of performance of diesel-propelled vessels worldwide, including application of theoretical and technical knowledge in the supervision of dry-docking and repairs of company’s diversified fleet of large vessels of unlimited break horsepower. Must be willing to travel extensively in US and abroad. Individual must be physically able to board company vessels.

Assistant Technical Superintendent -- Individual must have a B.S. degree in Marine Engineering and 3-5 years experience, preferably sailing as a licensed engineering officer steam or diesel. Primary duties will include assistance and support to the Technical Superintendents with the technical management of the fleet including the day-to-day oversight of vessel maintenance and reporting, purchasing and drydocking arrangements. The position will liaison with Class, USCG and other regulatory bodies as needed to maintain vessel compliance with Class, domestic and international law. Knowledge of ISM and ISO management
system compliance a plus. This position requires some travel and the individual must be able to be reached during non-office hours.

Marine Healthcare Administrator/Case Manager – Individual must have a degree in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy, to manage the injury and illness program for a large maritime shipping company. Candidate will be responsible for follow up and documentation of cases, will handle wellness programs and will play a role in loss prevention functions. Must have a good administrative background with strong organizational and communication skills.

Business Development Manager -- CGRailway, Inc. the U.S. Mexico rail ferry division of ISC is seeking a Business Development Manager. Individual will make calls, present proposals, review accounts and provide ongoing support to ensure the development of solid, long term client relationships. Primary responsibilities will be to acquire new clients and attain other sales related goals. Individual will call on key accounts and target companies to assess their needs. Will also provide input to develop sales and close business. Candidate must be degreed and have 5-10 yrs experience in sales. Must also have good customer service skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) also necessary. Must be responsive, detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects and be able to work in a fast paced organization. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Pricing Coordinator/Analyst – Individual with a a BS/BA degree in Marketing or Business Administration is needed to support sales and marketing functions. Will maintain database, prepare quotes, analyze statistical information and work with customers. Transportation or rail experience is desired. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Candidate should have M.S. Office experience and must be willing to travel as necessary.
