Function: Information SystemsPay Type: Non-ExemptPosition Number: 10270161 Controls Technician IIIEmployee Type: Full Time Shift N/AJob Description: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of all control systems components including control panels wiring, hard-wiring devices, instrumentation, and I/O devices, controllers, and MMI (Man-Machine Interfaces). Other duties include assiting with the fabrication, installation, and start-up of a large control system. Must have the ability to travel to various locations with approximately 50% of the time away from home and be responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Education beyond high school including less than two years of special training, vocational school and/or college courses.Experience: Prefer previous experience in one of the following fields: Electrician, plant maintenance, mechanical technician, PLC programming apprentice electrician.Travel: 50% of the timeSpecial Skills and Other Requirements: Basic hand tools, reading schematics, understanding use of DVOM, mechanical understanding advanced electrical wiring.
Position-Specific Requirements: PLC Knowledge, Electrical Knowledge. Can read control prints and understand.
