Twice recognized by Inc. magazine as one of America’s 500 fastest-growing private companies, we are continuing to grow and are seeking aBusiness Intelligence SpecialistThe Business Intelligence Specialist’s role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Specialist is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.Qualifications:·Four year college or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering and 5 plus years relevant work experience.·Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting multi-terabyte data warehouses.·Certification or working experience with database platforms and business intelligence technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005, OLAP, .NET, IIS, ETL, Crystal Enterprise, and Business Objects.·Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.·Hands-on experience with data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.·In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems.·Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards.·Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.·Proven project management experience.·Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.·Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.·Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
