Join this exciting organization - Timken Aftermarket Solutions as a Business Development Analyst.
The purpose of this position is to analyze financials and understand markets for Timken Aftermarket Solutions, a division of a large, global company that is growing and expanding its business. The successful candidate will analyze financials and understand markets for current and potential aftermarket programs. This position is also responsible for product line reviews, program recommendations and providing decision support for program managers, new business development, and general management. This opportunity requires the successful candidate possess a significant degree of creative energy for gathering information, analysis of data, organizing, and preparing proposals for future target areas along with an understanding financial reporting and communicating analysis and information.
Responsiblities include but are not limited to:
Segment business income statements into program / product lines and perform other financial analysis of our growth initiatives. Develop and refine business cases for organic growth as well as analyze financials of prospective acquisitions Expand and/or develop market understanding of programs and products (fleets, overhaul rates, customers, suppliers, segments, trends, forecasts, competition, pricing, profits, and channels). Develop and deliver internal communications of financial and market analyses. Assist with business development projects including acquisitions, integrations, marketing communications, market research, and business planning
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: Associates Degree in Business or Finance with 5-7 years experience. Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance with 0-3 years experience. Market research/general research including query writing & working with databases. Marketing and company financial analysis. Computer proficiency (MS Office, Access, network and mainframe applications). Effective oral and written communications. Ability to work independently.
