At BASF, we make careers better, too.This position serves as global research insecticide field biological coordinator for assigned plant protection agents on global cross-functional teams. Effectively coordinates research and development activities for BASF technologies with APR/IB Biology Team Leaders, APR/IB chemists, ARS, Regional Business Units, Global Strategic Marketing and other functional areas. Designs and implements research plans to support the discovery, selection/justification, and development of new technologies and support commercial products. Responsible for the identification of potential uses of experimental plant protection agents and new uses for existing products.
REQUIREMENTS
MS or PhD in Entomology or related Agricultural Science and 3-5 years relevant experience.
Proven track-record of developing practical innovative technologies in the area of agricultural science.

Excellent interpersonal, management and organizational and skills are required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident communicator, with strong leadership and team skills. Knowledge of pesticide chemistry and physical properties, as well as experience with global insect pest issues would be an asset.

Previous experience working with a multi-national agricultural products company is highly desirable.

Proven knowledge of agronomic practices and crop production systems.
