The R&D Research Scientist will report to the V.P. of R&D, and will be responsible for performing research experiments to derive and validate novel clinical diagnostic assays on a variety of different platforms. This position is also responsible for authoring (1) Technical SOPs, (2) Validation Reports, (3) abstracts or articles in peer-reviewed journals and similar documentation. Ideally, the successful candidate for this position will have a demonstrable track record of clinical diagnostic assay development from their experience at an IVD company. Salary commensurate with experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in a related field (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, etc.) plus at least two years experience, preferably at an IVD company.
