QC Chemistry Associate II-IV

Great opportunity available for a QC Chemistry Associate with a leading biomedical company in the Irvine area.

Organize and carry out testing, including setting up and operating a wide variety of complex laboratory equipment such as FTIR spectrophotometers, UV/VIS spectrophotometry and AA spectrophotometers.
Arrange and modify equipment to achieve optimum performance.
Perform specific non-routine tests as requested by the senior staff.
May review current procedures and make recommendations for necessary
or desireable changes.
Coordinate laboratory testing.
Record data in log books and/or LIMS including all computational tasks and complete analysis report forms.
Perform all other laboratory duties such as preparing test reagents and standard solutions and routine instrument upkeep.
Follow cGMP requirements in all appropriate functions and notify the supervisor of any observed discrepancies in laboratory or plant operations.
Assist in the training of other QC Chemistry Associates in job skills, computer functions, equipment, procedures, safety and process flow.
