Position Description

Specialty Sales Representatives are responsible for influence prescribing behaviors based on the patient needs and product features and benefits. Specialty Sales Representatives operate in an extremely fast paced and highly clinical environment. Relationship building and clinical expertise is required. Representatives should have a long term vision as well as short term plan in order to stay focused on managing multiple accounts and large geography.

Specialty Sales Representatives are responsible for achieving annual sales goals for Queens Nassau County territory through the development, maintenance and enhancement of key customer accounts. It will be necessary to utilize Schering’s selling model and market strategies to expand product demand. Develops thought leaders, speakers and programs for Schering Plough products.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of 2 to 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success and the ability to develop new business and customer relationships. Understand and convey complex information. Candidates must possess strong communication and project management skills. Overnight travel is territory dependent. Travel is required for District and National meetings, conventions and training programs.
