Medical Writer

A leading pharmaceutical company located in the northern suburbs of Chicago is looking for a Medical Writer to join their team!

Responsibilities: The associate will write, substantively edit, and review content of strategic publications (abstracts, manuscripts, presentations) and will adhere to all relevant publication requirements as well as PhRMA Principles. The Associate will assume manuscript responsibility on the Writing Teams for assigned publications.

•Produces high-quality strategic publications
•Plans, writes, and substantively edits strategic publications (e.g., abstracts, manuscripts)
•Develops content and coordinates production of scientific posters
•Ensures adherence to publication requirements
•Working in collaboration with other functions (e.g. Clinical Research, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Marketing), checks for accuracy, coordinates reviews, collates reviewers' comments, and prepare final submissions etc.
•Implements Strategic Publication Plans
•Conduct relevant research where necessary to support cross-functional publication teams
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: Bachelor's degree with some Bio-medical writing experience. Degree in a Scientific discipline, 1-3 years of Pharmaceutical writing experience desired.
