Manufacturing Manager Animal Health

We are seeking “Alpha-Grade” manufacturing and product management professional to work within the animal health industry in the greater Kansas City metro region. Alpha Scouts is a management recruiting firm that works extensively in biotechnology, agricultural and related industries. We’re working with local, regional, national and global companies.

The position is a senior manufacturing manager for a fast growing entrepreneurial company. Our client has been in business for a number of years and is a well established player in the animal health business, and is focused on new rapid growth.

We are looking for a person that is highly comfortable in a focused manufacturing environment for pharmaceuticals and animal health products. Product development and Q/A experience is a plus by not required. The position will manage manufacturing line supervisors, and have management responsibility for the product, process, factory performance, production and quality control systems for the company’s line of products.

We are seeking a person who is bright, articulate and highly experienced in the pharmaceutical and/or animal health manufacturing process. We’d like someone who is effective, disciplined, gets along well with people and can effectively manage processes, suppliers and people. The position will report to the manufacturing director.
REQUIREMENTS
Four year college degree:

Relevant fields could include biology, chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, manufacturing, veterinary medicine and/or related fields.
•Must have previous personnel management experience.
•Previous experience with management in operations, manufacturing, quality assurance and/or product development in related fields.
