Manufacturing Engineer

1) Provide technical assistance required to plan and implement specified projects to develop, install, and qualify new products/ manufacturing processes for new products or to improve existing processes; provide assistance to production as needed.2) Provide engineering expertise in the design, fabrication, development, installation, validation and qualification of acquired components, parts, equipment, and services; provide training to ensure proper operation of equipment.3) Monitor and control programs, identify issues and ensure resolution.4) Ensure accurate documentation for any implemented changes.5) Research and implement cost reduction projects. Requirements:

1) Four-year degree or equivalent in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or closely related engineering discipline.2) Four years of increasing engineering responsibility and experience in manufacturing environment.3) Experience to include: a) Designing, specifying, fabricating, assembling, validating and debugging machinery/product and manufacturing and processes. b) Must be able to create and work from engineering drawings and/or specifications. c) Requires good analytical/problem-solving skills as well as knowledge of electronic/chemical equipment and tools used in laboratory testing and inspection systems, statistical techniques/methods, engineering drafting, and PC efficiency using Windows-based software (Outlook, Word and Excel preferred). d) Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written/oral) and familiarity with current GMP, FDA and ISO regulations.
