Job Summary:
Under general supervision, Project Associates are primarily responsible for providing technical support for department/organization level projects. Specific responsibilities include representing the department on department and company-wide teams, keeping the supervisor informed of project status, developments and issues, acting as a liaison between various departments, outside agencies, collaborators by providing reports and data analysis, ensuring the flow of communication between groups, and performing special projects as requested by supervisor. Also responsible for verifying analytical data, information being sent to various external regulatory agencies, revising and/or auditing various documents.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Life Sciences/Engineering required.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry required.
Must have visual acuity and color perception capabilities.Documentation experience (SOP, Methods, and Guidelines Documentation).
People skills, teamwork, negotiation, and facilitation skills are a must to energize teams and ensure collaboration and commitment.
Computer skills and experience in Excel, database management, Word, and PowerPoint are essential.

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:
MS, MBA or Project Management experience.
7 - 9 years of experience.
Leadership experience.
Laboratory experience with analytical instrumentation in the pharmaceutical industry.
Expected to lead cross-functional working groups, SPOC for operations on relevant work areas.
Should have interest and experience in management of processes and process improvement.
A self-starter, with proven problem-solving, project management, facilitation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes, and the ability to evaluate documentation and operations according to company and various guidelines.
