With the only nationwide veterinary laboratory network serving all 50 states, we provide diagnostic testing for an estimated 15,000 clients, which include standard animal hospitals, large animal practices, universities, and other government organizations. Our diagnostic spectrum includes over 300 different tests in the areas of chemistry, pathology, endocrinology, serology, hematology, and microbiology, as well as tests specific to particular diseases. We do not conduct experiments on animals.

Currently, we have these positions available:



Customer Service Reps (F/T, days): Reps provide excellent service to our clients by answering questions regarding test prices, processing time, specimen submittal, and order changes, for example. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid data entry and computer skills, high energy personality, and great interpersonal skills. Customer service experience in a call center environment is preferred but not required. Vet tech/vet assistant experience considered a huge plus!




Consult Line Tech (F/T, days): Ideal candidate will be a Vet Tech/Assistant with experience in a vet hospital and general knowledge of lab testing and supplies used for specimen submission. Must have great phone, interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task. Tech will screen consultation requests from our clients via phone and internet, answer questions regarding specimen handling and submission. General clerical duties also required.





Data Entry (P/T, 3rd shift): Speedy (60+ wpm preferred), accurate data entry specialists needed for high volume alpha/numeric data entry. Prefer candidate with 3rd shift experience (shifts start between 10pm and 12midnight). Experience in a clinical lab setting considered a plus.



Histology Dept Receiver (P/T, 3rd shift): Will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and distributing histology samples from our specimen processing department. Will need to change solutions in VIPs, help run recyclers, and perform other miscellaneous duties. Require very conscientious, detail-oriented individual (will be working with lots of numbers) with exceptional organizational skills, ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Mon night only: 9pm – 5:30am.
Microtomy Technician (F/T, days): Position available for histotech with one year microtomy work experience. Requires ability to work with automated stainer and coverslipper, care/use/maintenance of microtome. Duties may also include embedding. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, great organizational and interpersonal skills are also required.



Serology Tech (P/T, 3rd shift): Perform FELV, FIV, and heartworm tests, reconcile pending lists, help set up other tests as requested. Requires HS Diploma or equivalent plus 3 months clinical lab experience (handling specimens, pipetting, using basic lab instruments); good communication, organizational, and computer skills. Prefer candidate familiar with ELISA procedures. Fri and Sat nights only.







Parasitology Lab Assistant (F/T, 3rd shift) :High school diploma or equivalent, basic lab experience (microbiology preferred), strong background in laboratory specimen management and handling, good communication and interpersonal skills, computer experience. Assistant will set up ova and parasite tests according to standard operating procedures. Vet techs/assts with experience performing fecal tests are encouraged to apply!



Quality Assurance Assistant (FT, days): Assist with monitoring of QA/QC policy compliance, coordination of blind and correlation studies, updating SOPs and speadsheets, administrative support for department. Requires BS in Medical Technology or HS diploma plus 3-5 years lab experience. Must have excellent computer skills (MS Excel and Word), strong organizational skills, understanding of QA/QC concepts, ability to multitask





Specimen Processors (F/T, P/T, 3rd shift): Opportunities for detail-oriented, quick-learners with a background in science or experience in a high-volume clinical lab setting. Require individuals with the ability to work in a very fast-paced lab environment, good data entry skills. Duties include sorting, scanning, accessioning samples, entering data, possible aliquoting of specimens, work with centrifuge. Prefer candidates with prior 3rd shift experience (shifts start approximately 10pm or 11pm).
