Hazard Communication Clerk

This position will be supporting the Hazard Communication integration process and the implementation of the SAP EH&S module.

We are seeking an individual that can assist the company's Chemical Compliance and Risk Management (CCRM) group's tracking company documentation for approval and upload into the company's document control system, and entering of chemical data into databases to support chemical compliance programs.
1) Tracking our Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and label files for creation and release utilizing our document control system
2) Adding supplemental information onto supplier MSDSs, and scanning them for entry into our MSDS distribution system
3) Work with a third party contractor to ensure MSDSs created by them are tracked and that their response is timely
4) Add P/Ns on Bill of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
5) Provide data entry support, such as linking MSDS P/Ns to Material P/Ns in SAP, population of data into SAP's Chemicals

Substances Reporting and Recordkeeping (CSRR) database, ensuring storage conditions of chemicals in SAP are entered correctly

PC; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel; Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Sherpa, SAP and FileMaker PRO

Good attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions on data entry rules a must. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel. Chemistry or health science background a plus. Experience with PCs and scanning equipment a must. Familiarity with document control systems and SAP preferred.
