ImmucorGamma has revolutionized the industry through our dedication to auto-mating manual processes in the blood bank laboratory.Immucor has immediate opening for a fulltime position in Bulk Manufacturing at its Norcross, GA location as a Filtration Technician of the Bulk Manufacturing Team. This position performs the tasks and functions associated with the filtration of Immucor reagents and products including equipment start-up, operation and routine service, documentation, preparation and sterilization of containers/equipment, sampling and inventory control.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1)Performs set-up and filtration of products2)Prepares containers, filters and set-ups for the preparation and filtration of product including bottle/filter/tank building and sterilization3)Assists Manufacturing Tech with the routine service of the DI water system, WS0024)Performs clerical checks for co-workers including verification of volumes and weights5)Accurately completes paperwork with minimal corrections and in a timely manner6)Performs and records routine maintenance including cleaning/disinfecting of assigned area(s) and items/equipment associated with the autoclave/sterilization process7)Performs aseptic sampling of products for culture and bioburden testing8)Assists in troubleshooting problems which occur9)Assists in assuring that an adequate inventory of necessary items are on hand10)Assists in the training of new and/or temporary employees
REQUIREMENTS
