Director of Process Development

An exciting new biotechnology company on the cutting edge of the industry is searching for a Director of Process Development who can immediately contribute to the company's success.
The successful candidate will become a member of a multidisciplinary team focusing on development of RNA-virus based novel cancer therapeutics, and will provide leadership to scientists in the areas of cell culture, downstream processing, and assay development, during process development and tech transfer. The individual who fills this position will need to be “hands-on” to the development process. The individual must be intimately familiar with GMP's and FDA/ICH guidelines as they relate to pharmaceutical product development. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high aptitude in improving process development through their knowledge and expertise and proven experience in the design and execution of process development strategies and goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience required:
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related science
10+ years experience in process development and assays to support PD
The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good organizational skills.
