Job Title: Director of Finance

Job Description:

Summary: This is a senior level finance position reporting to the Sr. V.P. of Finance, with “dotted line” reporting to the President of their $4 billion division. This position will have a Manager of Finance reporting to it.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provides direction and leadership in the management of the divisional forecasting, annual operating and capital plans, budgeting processes, quarterly forecasts including cash requirements and reporting activities. Develops and administers Policies and Procedures related to these functions.
2. Provides direction and leadership in the management of the planning and development of Divisional objectives, long-range and strategic plans, and identification of organization strengths and weaknesses.
3. Conduct special studies for top management in areas such as operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, operating cost containment.
4. Responsible for the supervision of the strategic planning in areas of possible growth, expansion, and new business opportunities or financial planning staff.
5. Analyzing and evaluating financial plans as they relate to Divisional objectives.
6. Partners with operating management in evaluation of business operations Provides guidance in the management of the business
7. Analyzing debt versus equity decisions and evaluating proposed terms of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures.
8. Leads the preparation of estimates of new or proposed products or sites of service. Prepares proforma financial information for these products or sites.
9. Supports acquisition due diligence and evaluate M&A opportunities.
10. Works with external auditors as needed.
11. Acts as one of key contacts for all aspects of financial and operations elements of service with partnerships and management contract accounts.
12. Calculates and/or reviews divisional sales commissions and performs analysis supporting the sales function.
Coordinates data reporting and prepares financial analysis supporting strategy and contract negotiations with biopharmaceutical manufacturers
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Must Have:

• BS in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 8+ years of finance experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Some management / director level experience .
• Excellent communication, Team, People and Computer skills.

Candidate Nice to Have:

• Graduate degree in finance or accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst a plus
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industries.
• Experience in 3rd party distribution company maintaining a client type relationship with the drug manufacturer.

Location:Memphis,TN Relocation:NO Overnight Travel:20%

Compensation: Salary of $90K - $140K + 20% Bonus + stock options.
