Job Description:The Department of Nemours Biomedical Research at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a full-time Director of Clinical Pharmacology to develop, supervise, and unify research coordinators in the conduct of multidisciplinary clinical research investigations across Nemours’ sites and to provide leadership to investigators in the conduct of clinical trials. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparation of clinical research proposals for submission to granting agencies and pharmaceutical companies, and the Nemours Institutional Review Board; budget development with practice, hospital, and research administration and the composition of consent and assent documents; developing strategies for attracting trials of “break-through” significance and strategies for the training and continuing education of research coordinators.
