Chip Production Specialist

Job Description: The Research Associate will join a small dynamic team developing the next generation of DNA sequencing. They will be responsible for actively supporting the research teams in their development and data analysis activities. Specifically, the Research Associate will perform micro-fluidic chip preparation and treatments, perform quality tests using microscopes, maintaining quality records and monitor out-of-tolerance trends, ensure raw material inventory for chip fabrication is sustained and support surface, application and process development activities.Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in molecular biology or biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years experience in microarray or micro-fluidic chips. The candidate we are looking for will be detail-oriented, highly productive, a self-starter and comfortable in a start-up environment. Must be able to follow protocols (SOPs) exactly and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Excellent record-keeping, organizational and communication skills are required.
