Business Development Manager - East Coast

The Business Development Manager will support the Business Development team, whose charter is to:
1. Continue strong relationships with all existing customers
2. Develop new relationships
3. Maximize sales and marketing opportunities for JMHC services

Major Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain an East Coast Marketing Plan
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the customer and customer needs while identifying business development opportunities for JMHC
• Proactively develop sales opportunities and prepare proposals in conjunction with the Business Development Group
• Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge across the product/service line
• Develop strong relationships and communication with both internal and external customers
• Maintain excellent relationships with each customer through face-to-face meetings, phone or electronic mail
• Research, troubleshoot, and follow through for prompt resolution of any customer question, issue, or complaint
• Depending upon location, position may require travel up to 75%
REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 -7 years marketing and sales experience with an engineering, validation, or pharmaceutical equipment company
• Hands-on engineering and validation experience a plus
• Technical knowledge of biopharmaceutical engineering, process, validation and compliance a plus
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including presentation skills
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize day to day activities
