Biomedical Engineer

Biomedical Engineer Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline with seven to ten years progressive experience.

This role is responsible for the WW support of the Accelerator Automated Processing Systems (APS) immunochemistry automation (track-based workcells). As part of the Accelerator APS New Systems Launch Support team this position is responsible for: - WW Level IV phone support - Service & Support Documentation development. - Documentation of instrument modifications. - Service & Support costs analysis. - Engineering Support. - Spare parts definition and FRU list maintenance. - Service & Support training curriculum & material development. - Provide instrument subject matter expertise in review of secondary labeling documentation and provide signature for label copy approval per program timeline. - Review and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and OEM Vendor Engineering Changes (ECRs, etc.), evaluating for technical clarity and impact. - Maintain compliance to Regulatory standards, site and departmental standards, Operating Procedures, and Q Documents. The role requires a high degree of self-motivation and a strongly collaborative personality. Candidate must have: - Ability to work across internal department lines (functional lines). - Experience working with teams. - Experience with formulating ideas and suggestions and presenting them to groups for approval/information.

Candidae will subject to background investigation. The hoiurs are 8-5 (days) The hourly rate is $40-42 an hour.
