Associate Director, Clinical Team Management

Provides leadership and management to Clinical Team Management and Clinical Research Associates. Provides supervision, guidance and support to the clinical staff; thus, securing the successful completion of clinical trials. Responsible for the training and management of these staff to contribute to the successful delivery of clean data from evaluable patients within project parameters of time, quality and cost. Assists in resource utilization, policy development, and implementation of goals.





Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or licensed certified health care training

• At least 7 years experience in clinical research which includes at least 4 years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability

• Effective organizational skills and negotiation skills

• Ability to perform all tasks required of a Clinical Team Manager

• Ability to successfully network with the other Divisions where necessary

• Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting and fiscal management.

• Ability to tactfully supervise and objectively evaluate divisional staff.

• Expertise in motivating and integrating project teams.

• Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and retain a positive attitude.

• Good teaching and mentoring skills

• Knowledgeable of FDA, ICH and GCP guidelines

• Ability to tactfully supervise and objectively evaluate staff (personnel management skills)
