Wire Specialist

First Community Bancorp with 57 branches in Southern California and over $4.6 billion in assets, is seeking a highly qualified Wire Specialist to join its Carlsbad Office.
Position Summary:Perform daily wire transfer functions in a centralized multi-bank processing environment. Service branch wire inquires. Perform daily cash settlement and daily cash investment. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, basic accounting knowledge and balancing skills and good written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have:•Intermediate PC skills including Word, and Excel and Microsoft outlook.•Data entry and 10 Key by touch, minimum typing speed 40 wpm, proof reading skills a plus.•1 year minimum banking experience or comparable; previous wire experience and cash settlement a plus.•The ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communications.•Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.•The ability to process work accurately and timely to meet deadlines.
