VP, Project Management

Vice President, Project ManagementThis position assesses objectives for the assigned project phases and recommends technical strategies and tactics to satisfy business needs.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Actively participating in project implementation.

Supervising the management of projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that project management methodology is followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Overseeing the implementation of all production-related project activity, ensuring critical tasks are identified and target dates are achieved.

Participating in planning sessions to assist in determining project approach and overall time lines associated with project requirements.

Ensuring quality standards are met for projects.

Ensuring that appropriate tracking, reporting and communication takes place.

Performing standard management tasks, including performance reviews, work assignment, hiring, firing and counseling.A successful candidate will have:

Post-graduate degree or equivalent MBA.

6+ years of active involvement in project management or similar complex process management.

Extensive knowledge of project management methodology.

Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects from inception to implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, consensus building and management skills as it relates to the administration of departmental goals and objectives.
