What does a TELEPHONE BANKER do?

You'll serve as the telephone liaison of Chase Retail Banking; responsible for responding to customer inquiries relating to deposits, financial transactions, problem resolution, and evaluating customers' financial needs for sales opportunities. Our bankers provide prompt and accurate customer service by utilizing all available resources including bank computer software applications in a windows environment. Our TELEPHONE BANKERS thrive on being able to work in a fast paced, evolving, high volume, and structured environment.



Class Starting October 10, 2006

Available Shifts: 7 Day Flex

Start Time 11AM-12PM ; End Time 8PM-9PM

4 Weekdays & 1 Weekend day

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year customer service and sales experience (i.e. retail, cashiering, sales) Keyboard and PC proficiencyExcellent oral and written communication skills, with a clear, distinct voice Self-starter with proven ability to work independently Strong listening and problem solving skillsAbility to quickly resolve customer problems utilizing various computer screens and written manuals Ability to professionaly handle irate customersFlexible and adaptable about work schedules, which will include weekends. Ability to use a headset and to sit for long periods of time.

Previous retail banking and/or call center experience a plus.
