Tele-Service Representative

Washington State Employees Credit Union announces the immediate opening of a Full-time Tele-Services Representative (Outbound Calling). Here is an exiting opportunity to join the Contact Center Team and support WSECU’s promise of “Making Members’ Lives Easier” by providing friendly, efficient and accurate service while observing operating procedures and code of conduct standards.

The right person for this position will be responsible for placing, and receiving, consumer calls for the purpose of increasing membership by offering sound product and service solutions that fit the member’s needs. Additional responsibilities include backing up the Call Center and Lending Division. Outstanding listening and communications skills are required and WSECU product knowledge is preferred.

Hours:
Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday hours.
Minimum of 40 hours per week. Scheduling flexibility necessary to meet business needs.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Required - High school level education; minimum one year customer service experience.
Preferred – Outbound calling experience and credit union product knowledge.

Knowledge and Skills:
Required – The ability to analyze information and form recommendations; effective listening skills, tactful oral and written communication skills; a positive attitude; ability to work individually and as a team member, and strong cross-selling skills. Preferred – Data entry experience, sale and customer service training, and communications training.
