Team Leader, Reverse MortgageThis position oversees daily Reverse Mortgage operations, ensuring that goals and objectives are met and daily work is processed on time.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Setting goals and objectives.

Responding accurately and timely to all internal and external audit requests.

Supervising assigned personnel and providing guidance or disciplinary action when required.

Conducting performance evaluations and salary reviews.

Preparing/submitting departmental reports.

Analyzing and resolving technical problems with files as required.

Following all required internal control protocols policies/procedures the business unit has in place to manage risks.

Implementing new procedures required due to regulatory changes, or to reduce costs or improve efficiencies.

Assisting staff with processing work if backlogs develop or during exceptionally busy times.A successful candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years experience with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA/VA and conforming/nonconforming loans, including 1 year in a processing/closing role.

Quality Control experience.

Intermediate knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC.

Knowledge of mortgage lending standards, which would include fair lending practices, and federal and state laws regulating mortgage origination.

Ability to organize multiple priorities.

PC skills with proficiency (including the ability to create charts and graphs) in Windows software including Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.The ideal candidate may also possess:

Some college coursework.

Knowledge of Reverse Mortgages.
