Sr. UNDERWRITERS AND UNDERWRITERS
2-4 Years Experience $55K-$65K / YR - DOE
(Will have to test Underwrite)

The position responsibilities include:

- Review wholesale mortgage loan submissions and issue Conditional Loan Approvals in compliance with Investor and Bank guidelines.
- Underwriting will also include verification of all documentation and performing necessary calculations (such as debt-to-income and disposal income).
- Responsible for reviewing and clearing approval conditions as required.
- Remain current on Investor and Bank requirements and ensure compliance therewith.
- Perform initial appraisal review.
- Perform all data entry functions related to underwriting.
- If loan is unacceptable as structured, make alternative structuring recommendations.
- Work with other team members to ensure efficient document flow.
- Ensure compliance to federal, state, Bank and investor regulations/requirements.
- Prepare reports to management as required.
- Underwrite to minimum expectations of 5 - 7 loan files per day.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain underwriter quality standards, provide feedback to operations manager.
