Special Loans Analyst II

Qualified candidates must have an overall knowledge of Mortgage Loan Servicing and a comprehensive knowledge in the area of Special Loans servicing, including but not limited to adjustable rate mortgages, graduated payment mortgages, daily simple interest mortgages, prime rate loans, buydowns, HELOC’s, and loan modifications. Must be able to research and reconcile discrepancies found during the loan boarding process. An ability to understand Mortgage documents including the Mortgage Note and Closing documents is essential. Candidate must possess the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners to reconcile servicing and/or loan acquisition issues to ensure timely resolution.
REQUIREMENTS
EducationHigh School graduateFinance/related Degree preferred or equivalent work experienceExperience 2 -3 years work experience in a mortgage servicing or related environment. 1 year of specific work experience in the area of ARM loan acquisitions and/or servicing.
Skills & Knowledge
•Possess a high level of analytical skills
•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•MS Access skills preferred•Ability to read and understand Mortgage Loan Documents and Histories.•Ability to review loan documents and verify accuracy of data on servicing system.•Good research and problem-solving skills are a necessity
•Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers
•Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers
•Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material
