Assists other loan counselors in the negotiations and collection of all phases of delinquency.1. Receives and analyzes incoming calls from delinquent customers and establishes a payment plan to bring the loan to current status.
2. Monitors all standard collection procedures according to lender?s policy to minimize the lender?s loan delinquencies.
3. Works every account to conclusion.
4. Monitors/regularly reviews assigned delinquent accounts. 5. Documents and maintains on-line collection history for assigned accounts, appropriately noting reason for delinquency.
6. Provides high quality service to internal and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience/Training:
One year of collection experience with a mortgage banking or related financial institution. Familiarity with state/federal laws involving fair debt collection practices.
