About The Company

Responsible for developing audit programs, performing audit steps, providing advice and counsel, and tracking and monitoring key business risks related to Bank Integration activities as assigned. You will also assist other Auditors on various audit projects as required. Knowledge and experience on acquisitions and integrations related projects or audits. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Ability to travel between Richmond, VA and Long Island, New York 40% to 50% of the time.
Overseeing and performing major components of audit programs
Performing risk assessments by analyzing integration activities, potential exposures and the materiality of loss
Designing and executing appropriate tests to verify the effectiveness of existing controls
Performing audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing integration related documents and documenting existing processes and procedures
Coordinating work assignments among audit team members when serving as the AIC of an audit or project
Communicating or assisting in the communication of the results of some audit projects to management via written reports and oral presentations
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
6 years of internal audit, banking, public accounting, accounting or other related field
Mergers & Acquisitions financial institution experience is required
Preferred
Certification (CPA, CIA, CBA, or CISA)
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience
